WRSSF - Western Region Social Service Forum - Is a registered charitable society comprising of three richly varied colorful western states of India: Goa, Gujarat and Maharashtra. It inspires, animates, supports and promotes developmental interventions of the 16 Diocesan Social Service Societies of the region. Urged by a compassionate heart, WRSSF carries out the mission of setting the downtrodden free. Started in 1989 and registered in the year 2001 under Societies Registration Act. 1860
The Western Region Social Service Forum (WRSSF) has been formed for mutual sharing and sharing among the diocesan Directors, Coordinators and Social Workers address Regional issues by taking up Regional Programs based on Regional needs. |

To act as a forum for Networking, Exchange of
Expe-
riences,aMonitoring and Evaluation of
activities. |
To conduct training programs and prepare teaching aids needed for social development of the
region. |
To capacitate partner organizations to be agents
of change. |
To serve as a liaison body with the Government
and other public bodies. |
To encourage activities that promote social action and empowerment for the people. |
To conduct research, maintain documentation
and provide resource material to relevant social
action. |
